JUPITER Sound, Modern Enhancements

Backed by Roland’s latest technologies, the JUPITER-08’s refined voice allocation and pitch behavior deliver a rich, animated playing experience with enhanced polyphonic performance and genuine vintage-inspired character.

Maximum Creative Power

While previous Roland Boutique models had trimmed-down polyphony, the JUPITER-08 offers the complete eight-voice/two-part architecture of the mighty JUPITER-8. Players can access the same layered, split, and dual-part capabilities as the original, making this mini synth a highly capable tool for performance and composition.

Polyphonic Sequencer and Arpeggiator

Create basslines, chords, and melodic sequences with a two-part, 64-step polyphonic sequencer that supports up to eight notes per step plus motion recording. There’s also an arpeggio function for crafting dynamic, evolving sounds on the fly.

Expanded Effects Processing

The JUPITER-08 features powerful onboard processing for extensive sound shaping and spatial enhancement. Tap into 17 unique effects—including chorus and MFX—plus dedicated delay and a reverb with hall and shimmer types.

Performance-Oriented Workflow

Dedicated controls, Hold functionality, and an intuitive interface provide immediate hands-on interaction in both studio and live environments. A USB-C audio/MIDI interface, traditional MIDI I/O, and an external clock input make the synth easy to integrate into any contemporary production environment.

Compact Roland Boutique Design

The JUPITER-08 carries on all the great design features of the Roland Boutique series, including built-in speakers and flexible battery/USB-C power for music creation on the move. A K-25m keyboard dock is included, creating a standalone mini-instrument that’s ready to travel everywhere.
