Utilizing the same technology that powers the flagship MONTAGE, the MODX+ features 128 notes of AWM2 (Advanced Wave Memory 2) polyphony and 128 notes of FM-X polyphony. The AWM2 engine provides stunning emulative acoustic instruments, synth sounds, and drums, while the FM-X engine produces dynamic, electro-modern sounds.
The AWM2 engine in the MODX+ series offers much more than just sample playback. Each of the 16 AWM2 parts feature eight programmable synthesizers with 18 different filter types, amplitude, pitch, and filter envelope generators, nine LFOs, 3-band EQ, and a dedicated dual insert effect with Virtual Circuitry Modeling. The FM-X engine produces classic '80s sounds and cutting-edge EDM tones with incredible dynamic range, power, and fidelity, all enhanced by Motion Control for evolving textures and unique sounds.
Smart Morph in the MODX+ series enables morphing between FM-X sounds using a sophisticated A.I. algorithm that creates an interactive morphing map. This can be controlled via the touchscreen or the Super Knob, resulting in a vast array of new, interactive sounds. Motion Sequences provide tempo-synchronized, customizable control sequences for creating new soundscapes, while the Envelope Follower and Audio Beat Sync add dynamic, real-time control over your music.
The MODX+ includes 1.75GB of non-volatile, low latency user flash memory for custom samples and synth libraries. It also features an extensive range of high-quality effects, from high-definition reverbs to detailed Virtual Circuit Modeling effects. These effects include modern EDM sound effects, vintage analog effects, and piano-focused effects like Damper Resonance, all designed to enhance your music production and performance.
With a professional 4-in/10-out, multi-channel USB audio interface and comprehensive DAW integration, the MODX+ series fits seamlessly into any modern music production setup.
